Before you decide that piranhas are right for you, you must read all you can about piranhas. Many people believe that piranhas are agressive fish, and become disappointed when they realize that this is not the case. There ARE several sprecies of piranhas that are agressive (such as the black piranha), but they must be kept solitary. After you decide on which species you want, you must then purchase all the right piranha tank equipment and properly set up your piranha tank. The size of your piranha tank and equipment is dependant on the type of piranha you choose. Most people choose to keep red belly piranhas. After all this is done, you are now ready to buy piranhas!
Where Can I Buy Piranhas Online?
Unfortunately, not many pet stores carry piranhas. Those that do claim to carry “piranhas” sometimes are nothing more then their close cousins, the Pacu. So where do you buy piranhas?
There are several places where you can buy piranhas online. Unfortunately, some of those sites offer poor services, and ship not so healthy piranhas. Some of these piranhas even arrive dead, with no chance of refunds.
